A fantastic way to end Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month! The artist Aman and Alisha arrived on time and looked beautiful in their costumes. I have to thank them for their flexiblity as we asked them to start a little earlier, not present a video or have a Q&A. Unfortunately because of inclement weather the week before a conflict was created, as our Field Day was rescheduled for this date as well. In spite of this, the students really enjoyed the performance which included three types of Indian Dance indispersed with the artist sharing lots of relevant history and information connected with each dance. The highlight of the presentation was when the performers taught the students two dances and the students enthusiastically took part in the dancing!
