Nassau BOCES and Arts in Education Programs will never share, rent or sell your personal information. It is strictly kept for the purposes of conducting Arts in Education business only and confidentiality is strictly maintained. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
At http://www.nassauboces.org/artsined, you can request and approve programs, complete and approve evaluations, register as an artist, post your offerings, modify your "contact" information, or express an opinion. The information that we request from you is needed in order to process requests for programs and their associated invoices. In order to appropriately represent artists and their program offerings on the Website, we require the following: your name, organization (if applicable), home/business address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, and website address (if any). For purposes of internal identification and to enable us to process invoices and list programs in the "Calendar", we request your Social Security or Federal ID number. Please be aware that these last two identifiers are used by BOCES only and are never posted or revealed online anywhere on the Arts in Education Website. We also request that you select a username and password that are exclusively yours and which will enable you to access and (as needed) revise the information you have submitted for inclusion on the Website. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION
We use the information you provide about yourself and your organization to appropriately represent your offerings on the Arts in Education web site and to enable schools, libraries and other presenters to contact you quickly and easily. With the new changes to the web site, we are now able to list your in-school programs on the web site "Calendar" with a direct link to the program descriptions you have submitted. We will only disclose your information when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We are also required to disclose your information in response to a law enforcement agency's request. These are the only circumstances in which your information would be shared with others. The Arts in Education program will contact you occassionally via e-mail for routine business matters. OUR COMMITMENT TO SECURITY
This web site is secured using a Thawte Digital Certificate. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted (garbled). If any other Internet user should happen to intercept your communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form.
