Program Description
This interactive cultural enrichment workshop is a perfect aid for social studies as well as art teachers who would like to acquaint their students with the aesthetics and history of West Africa through a fashion and accessories presentation.

It explores West African fashion and accessories through a display of authentic garments worn by liberated Africans and a mini fashion show of contemporary West African fashions presented by volunteer participants.

* Optional Fashion Illustration Residency for high school juniors & seniors is available upon request.
Cost includes artist's fees and materials. Inquire about cost quote and details for a group size larger than the stated maximum and for the fashion designing component
