Program Description
This can be a residency or an all day workshop. Students will learn how to create their own patterned papers by making stampers out of re=purposed materials. papers can be printed using gel prints or by hand. Non-represenational art will be discussed. Students will create their own non-representational piece of artwork. the size will be determined by the length of the program. This process will touch on the formal elements of art including line, shape, space, value, texture and color. The discussion will also include artists that represent this style, including but not limited to Wassily Kandinsky and Sonia Delaunay.
