Program Description
This interactive workshop will help students understand the power of social media as it relates to one’s reputation and image. The advantages and disadvantages of social media will be covered. Students will learn how to use social media to enhance and protect one’s own reputation. They will also understand the everlasting impact of a “Digital Footprint.” Finally, through real-life examples, students will learn the pitfalls to avoid as well as major considerations when using social media. Negative consequences of poor decision making will be highlighted as it relates to college admissions and future employment opportunities and advancement.
