Program Description
No price increase for 25-26!

The ultimate combination of low tech and high tech! In this fun and educational program, we take found-object sound sources (trash) and then sample, mutate, and manipulate those sounds into danceable beats using science and technology. Along the way, we’ll address issues of sustainability and plastic pollution, as well as acoustics and music production. Students will discover how producers work with sound to create sound effects, and how DJs layer sounds to create electronic dance music. Two-performer version for smaller audiences.
