Program Description
This beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of throwing ceramic vessels on the wheel. Participants will learn key techniques like centering, opening, raising walls, and shaping. The session is designed to build confidence and foundational skills, with the understanding that firing the work at your school will be necessary for final pieces. Dress appropriately and bring boxes for unfired work.

*For an in school experience, please be reminded that this workshop is best suited for schools that have wheels and students who can glaze and fire their pieces in a kiln at school. The Art League will only be responsible for providing reclaim clay for this workshop.
