Program Description
Join a DINOSAURS ROCK expert for this exploration of the insect world, with the backdrop of a massive Museum exhibit filled with unusual insects (taxidermy under glass or acrylic). Students will learn about prehistoric insects, insect life cycles and anatomy, how a fly flies, metamorphosis and much more through viewing exhibit specimens up-close and screen shares of visual wonder such as metamorphosis. Every student gets a take-home gift and offer optional add-on hands-on activities like Amber Discovery (polishing real amber). It's an up-close look at some of the coolest (and grossest) insects ever! DINOSAURS, GEMS & OCEANS ROCK programs too! 27th year!
