This is an online version of our in-school assembly program. Live musical performance of rock and roll hits from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s (LS 3). Students observe how rock and roll music is created live by three musicians (LS 2). Students have opportunity to respond to music physically through directed group audience participation or undirected participation (LS 1). Dancing is encouraged, if appropriate in performance setting. We share stores about the early years of rock and roll and the young performers who created the music (LS 4).
