"Super Students" teaches students that they don’t need superpowers to be Super Students, just super choices. Brandon teaches how to be courageous by first going through his "Dancing through the Decades" skit, in which select students follow Brandon as he demonstrates popular dance moves from the Twist to the Worm. Next, Brandon teaches a student how to Tango and even teaches teachers how to Salsa. Students and staff rave about this part of the presentations.
Next, Brandon shares his moving experience of teaching wheelchair ballroom dance and taking ownership of how we treat each other. Brandon continues with more moving and impactful stories and finishes with students practicing what was spoken about by grabbing the microphone and complimenting a teacher in the room.
Students learn a chant that they can take with them to remember to be "Super Students." Additional themes in the speech include building character, responding to bullying, developing leadership, and making positive/healthy choices. Brandon utilizes dancing, acting, and storytelling to develop "Super Students!"
