In this age-appropriate presentation, author Maria Wen Adcock will show students how to start writing a children's book, what publishers are looking for in picture books, and the different routes to publishing (traditional vs. self-publishing). Maria Wen Adcock uses her book, "It's Chinese New Year, Curious George," as an example for storytelling and illustration development.
