Program Description
Group Murals and Collaborative Art Projects are a wonderful way for the school community to come together. Delivered in multiple assemblies or classroom visits, the sessions engage students in an interactive artmaking experience, led by a New York State Licensed Art Therapist. Social-emotional themes are highlighted, such as kindness, anti-bullying and inclusion, in an effort to increase the prosocial behaviors of cooperation, acceptance, and empathy. All artwork is later combined to create a large piece/installation to be displayed at the school.
