Our nationally credentialed prevention educator has keynoted numerous professional conferences and toured hundreds of K-12 schools.

With this new program, titled A Second Too Late, he describes the terrible circumstances that led up to the loss of several loved ones due to opiate addiction. As a teacher and police officer, Tim attended several funerals for current and former students that had passed from opiate use.

He tactfully breaches this subject in a gentle, but powerful, way; connecting with his audience and encouraging them to take a preventative stance on this terrible issue. Students are educated on the common triggers of opiate use, the routes to addition and the causes of overdose. Staff and parents may be instructed on the availability and use of overdose protection measures, such as Narcan and other techniques.

Drawing from over 20 years in the preventive and law enforcement fields, Tim provides a very valuable opportunity to address what is perhaps the deadliest drug crisis in America today.
