Side by Side Performances specializes in offering professional performers who will work "side by side" with your students to give them the skills and the confidence to participate in the arts at a professional level. Students learn and perform best when they are in a safe and supported environment, with access to professional role models. Side by Side Performances creates this atmosphere for your students. Our performers know how to let your students "take the wheel" for a professional performance experience, but stay by their side providing support and building confidence. Our curriculum is designed to provide specific outcomes and is customized to meet students' individual needs through an authentic experience in a real performance environment. You can select a single performer for a single session, multiple performers to work with multiple groups of students for a single session, or you can choose multiple sessions, each building upon the previous. Our curriculum can be customized for professional pit orchestra performance, musical and vocal accompaniment, lighting design, sound reinforcement design, costume design, stage design, choreography, musical direction, stage management, theater management, event management and promotion. We also customize the curriculum for staff development, so your staff can continue the work we started or learn how to run your own systems, like a pro. Each session is one price and you can mix and match performers to meet your goals and needs.
