Program Description
The Art League of Long Island’s Advanced Placement Institute (API) offers high school AP Art students opportunities to take classes at the Art League in figure drawing with models, printmaking, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and more. The Art League's administrative and teaching staff will work with High School art teachers to design programs that meet the district's and individual student's needs. Length and duration of workshops are flexible to meet district needs. API WORKSHOPS; Minimum of $90 per session per student. Price will vary depending on the medium and the size and length of the workshop.

The Art League’s annual “Go Ape” exhibition presents High School students in Advanced Placement Art the opportunity to exhibit their work in our bi-level Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery. The exhibition will run from 3/8/25-3/22/25 with a reception to take place on 3/22/2025. Awards for "Award of Excellence," "Honorable Mention," and "Best Presentation" will be announced at the reception. The cost for entry is $30 per student.
