Program Description
Native American Experiential Presentation Adapted for Online Learning. Our virtual programs keep students' attention, providing active, entertaining educational content. A full day of hands-on activities complements your unit on the Native Americans of New York. Students view and gain an appreciation for the arts and artifacts that reflect the expressive culture and survival of the Eastern Woodlands Indians through our moving museum presentation. Other activities: storytelling, craft projects, song, traditional games, and workshop on Haudenosaunee government. Program addresses NYS 4th grade and 7th grade curriculum, but can also apply to other grades. Aligns with NYS arts anchor standards11. Specifically connects with visual art enduring understanding and essential questions 2.3, 6.1, and 11.1.
