Program Description
Colorful, exciting program of dances from the Hispanic world: Spanish Folk, Flamenco, Mexican Folklorico and Latin dance from the Caribbean with narrative linking the dances to the development of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture & history. Program includes explanation of techniques (castanets, footwork, hand clapping), as well as interactive audience participation throughout the program which culminates with students performing a short choreography on stage with artists.
