Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
Are you ready to create your own mythical creature? Children’s imaginations can run wild in this class as they use their knowledge of legends from all around the world to invent their own stories. Using a variety of art materials, kids will design and create unique, one-of-a-kind creatures!

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
In this class, kids will not only exercise their creative muscles but also expand their cultural horizons! They will review what they have learned about myths and legendary creatures from around the world, and make connections about the origins of myths across different cultures. This will help foster a deeper appreciation for the common threads that run through these stories. Then, children will develop their own stories, and use an array of art materials to bring their personalized creatures to life in a collage creature card.
