Program Description
Learn about the Earth and the position it occupies in our solar system in our 80-person planetarium dome. Topics covered include Earth's orbit, its axial tilt and how that creates seasons, how the Sun's heating of the planet creates wind and weather, and more. We will then place Earth and its behaviors in the context of the entire solar system, showing how Earth's place in space allows life to flourish. This show is adjustable to any age but was designed with the Earth Science curriculum in mind. The inflatable planetarium dome requires 30 feet of floor space in 15 feet of ceiling clearance. Usually, a gym or multipurpose room will fit the dome.
