Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
Hooray for Hollywood! We have been challenged to
create a poster to promote a movie. We will learn and experiment with the elements of graphic design to create exciting, eye-catching posters.

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class introduces children to the basic
principles of graphic design. They use design thinking and the IDEA design process to brainstorm, sketch, draw, and assess their movie poster concepts. They use planning, drawing and layout skills, and think about the best way to convey a story with a single image. This program engages children in hands-on creativity and design.
