Program Description

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
Let’s dive into board game design! Our mission is to create a board game that teaches players about the wonders of ocean life. Children brainstorm, sketch, and design their game board, cards and pieces. At the end of class, they can take their games home to play with friends and family.

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class gives children a taste of what it takes to be a board game designer. Using design thinking and the IDEA design process, they brainstorm, sketch, build, test, and improve their game designs. They use planning, drawing and sculpting skills, and think about theming and game strategy. This program engages children in hands-on creativity and design.
