Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
We're designing a city of the future! How will we
handle the traffic flow of all those who work and live in the city? Our mission is to create a pop-up vision of a future metropolis whose citizens get around safely on foot, on wheels, and in flight!

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class introduces children to the basic principles of urban design. They use design thinking and the IDEA design process to brainstorm, sketch, draw, and assess their city model concepts. They use planning, drawing and layout skills, and think about the best way to arrange buildings and transportation systems
in a city of the future. This program engages children in hands-on creativity and design.
