Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
We’re dressing up our very own superhero!
Superheroes look their best when drawn in action
poses, with faces that tell their story. We have
superhero templates and fashion textiles to kick-start the ultimate comic book star!

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class introduces children to the basic principles of fashion design and comic book illustration. They use design thinking and the IDEA design process to brainstorm, sketch, draw, and assess their concepts for a new superhero, and a costume that works with their superpowers! They use planning, drawing and collage-making skills with mixed media. They think about the best way to design the different pieces of the suit. This program engages children in hands-on creativity and design.
