Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
Jellyfish dance and drift through the water, and are found in every ocean on Earth! Kids dive in and learn about these mysterious creatures of the deep. They also learn about conservationist Jacques Cousteau and marine life artist Wyland, and their shared love for underwater ecosystems. Kids create colorful, mixed media hanging jellyfishes using a special ink diffusion technique.

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class teaches children about jellyfish and marine conservation. Children learn about the work of marine life artist and conservationist Wyland. They learn how to draw these amazing creatures, and then they create mixed-media, three-dimensional jellyfish sculptures. An ink diffusion technique allows them to create watery, blended colors and patterns to add their own creative look to their ocean-inspired masterpieces.
