Program Description
Marion Blumenthal Lazan virtually describes her childhood in Nazi concentration camps, liberation, and the start of life anew in America. Marion stresses the need for positive thinking to overcome adversity, and the importance of respect and compassion towards one another, regardless of religious belief, color of the skin or national origin. Today’s students are the last generation to hear a first-hand account. Marion’s memoir, Four Perfect Pebbles, would be a good read for students prior to her presentation. www.fourpefectpebbles.com
