Program Description
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy presents "art with a purpose".

SUMMARY:
We are going to the land Down Under! Enter Australia's Western Desert and see how family stories are carried from one generation to the next. Every family has its story, and we will pass on our personal tales by painting with the dot art technique used by Australia's aboriginal peoples.

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:
This class introduces children to the culture of aboriginal Australians, and to the techniques of dot art. They use creativity, story-telling, and inspiration from real aboriginal dot art to brainstorm, sketch, design, and create their own personal dot art maps and stories. This program engages children in hands- on creativity as they imagine, draw and paint their dot art canvases.
