Darren’s relatable topics and surprise endings, mixed with interaction and humor, keep everyone engaged and entertained. In his lower grade assembly, students solve poetry riddles, act out adventurous poems, and learn about rhythm and rhyme. In his upper grade assembly, students create their own words, use their imaginations to make objects more interesting, and participate in Poetry Challenges that get them in the mood to write.
