My program is tailored to ignite inspiration in students from kindergarten to 5th grade, to create their own stories. Throughout my engaging presentation, I share the creative process behind generating ideas, emphasizing the significance of maintaining a journal, just like many students do. I illustrate how my ideas typically originate from a drawing, showcasing how these drawings and writings intertwine to craft a compelling story. All of my artwork is crafted digitally using apps that are familiar to elementary school students. I present a current story idea and take the audience through the journey of nurturing this seed of an idea into a fully-fledged story. Utilizing an animated diagram, I visually map out the writing process, providing in-depth insights into the writing process for older students while ensuring that the younger grades also grasp the concepts. Moreover, I bring the finished story to life through narration, emphasizing the recurring theme that every story, no matter how simple, demands extensive revising to achieve greatness. Technology is pivotal in my presentation as I create digital drawings, providing an in-depth exploration for older grades and projecting the artwork onto a large screen. These drawings encompass many concepts encompassed in curriculums, from insect biology and color theory to symmetry and placement, providing a captivating and educational experience. After the presentation, I give the teachers a digital copy of the drawing through airdrop. I infuse humor throughout my teaching and warmly welcome questions from the students, ensuring an interactive and enriching experience for all.
