Program Description
|
"Kindred Spirits”, an exhibition of artwork by Long Island Art Educators and their present or former students will be held at The Firefly Artists, located at 90 Main St, Northport, NY. This exhibition will run from February 16 through March 7, 2024.
This exhibition is open to all current NYSATA members K through 12 in Regions 9 and 10 (Nassau and Suffolk County). All work submitted must be framed and wired for hanging. Work should not exceed the dimensions of 18" x 24" in either direction. Three-dimensional work will also be accepted. We have a limited number of pedestals. Please contact the gallery with size information for sculptural pieces at events@thefireflyartists.com and mention Kindred Spirits in the subject line.
Work will be accepted on a first-come first served basis. When the available space is filled, we will close registration.
To register, please fill out the form below. Submit one form for each Teacher/Student entry. You may submit more than one entry. Questions? Email events@thefireflyartists.com, and mention "Kindred Spirits" in the subject line.
There is an entry fee of $25 per Teacher/Student pair. MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO NYSATA R9.

Important dates to remember:
• Register by January 31st (Work will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. When the available space is filled, we will close registration.)
• Drop off artwork on February 2/15 from 11:00-5:00
• Opening Reception will be Saturday, February 2/17 from 3-5
• Pick up artwork on March 3/7 from 11:00-5:00
