Program Description

Explore the diversity of ceramics with the Multicultural Potters Wheel programs.We are Covid 19 compliant in the classroom. Day in Clay enters its 21st year and has visited over 400 schools. Cliff is a professional artist and teacher who provides an energetic program tailored to meet the needs of your school's curriculum. Day in Clay will transform your art room into a true artist studio, giving your students an authentic taste of the creative process, and illustrate how design, 'form and function’ relate across disciplines. Student partakes in a group collaborative vessel to exemplify the patterns and textures of various cultures and that reults in a customized vessel that promotes teambuilding and bonding.
Students display finished pieces showcased in the library or school hallways for parents and relatives to view or PTA fundraiser.
