Program Description
Blast off with an out-of-this-world laser show where students learn about the many amazing ways lasers are used for space exploration. Space Explorer is brimming with fascinating facts about laser communication and laser tools in space. It also features our mind-blowing laser animations and lively laser music videos.

Using the same vivid laser animations as leading planetariums and science museums, this show illuminates the structure of the solar system and reveals how lasers enhance our understanding of the universe. Our presenters use simple language, humor, and infectious energy to teach kids about the wonders of outer space and how lasers have transformed space exploration.

The theme of the assembly is that observing light is the foundation of astronomy, so it’s natural that teaching astronomy showcases the importance of laser light. Children learn about the planets and the sun, time and space, the Mars Curiosity Rover, and the many laser-powered instruments that are integral to a space probe’s mission. They travel back in time to discover the history of the constellations and the contributions of Copernicus and Galileo to our current understanding of space.

If you’re looking for that special event for National Space Day, a STEAM week celebration, or you just want to ignite every student’s imagination, Space Explorer will take your kids on a journey they won’t soon forget. They will enjoy interactive learning through fun, the best way to foster a long-term passion for science.

A darkened room is where our laser animations really shine. No special dome is required - all your students can enjoy the show simultaneously. Join forces with our laser science teachers to boldly go where sci-fi and cutting-edge laser science meet. Toss in some pop songs to get the kids jammin’, and you’ve got yourself a hit musical laser space show to remember.
