The Digital Dilemma Assembly is an absolutely riveting 60 minute assembly that has recently been called "world-changing" and "life-saving" by kid and adult attendees respectively. Within the first 3 minutes, shocked kids and adults are introduced to potentially life-saving techniques that they can immediately use to protect themselves online.
Age appropriate versions for 2 grade through adult.
We are inevitably living in a digital world. While no one can simply unplug from it, everyone much quickly learn about the dangers they are exposed to, and how they can protect themselves from disaster. From internet predators, to Tik Tok challenges, to identity thieves, to the bully next-door, to the sharing of lewd photos; our nationally acclaimed instructor sheds light on each of these problems. He then proposes instant solutions that kids and adults can effectively use right now.
From poor sleep hygiene, to obesity, self-harm and suicide, it is now clear that screen time is irreversibly harming our kids...but they don't know it. This class reviews the literature, exposes the poignant examples and even demonstrates how devices are hacked LIVE for students to see.
The parent version provides much-needed insight and instructions on how to set parent controls, limits and protections on kid's devices. How to set filters, what software to use and how to talk to your kids about social media.
