Program Description
Through our humane education program, the Nassau County SPCA (NCSPCA) strives to help children develop empathy and a sense of justice, and increase their understanding of personal responsibility for animals. The NCSPCA believes that by encouraging critical thinking in children, we can help them develop a system of self-initiated humane ethics so they may be able to determine appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
