Suggestions to artists for improvement:
The Mad Science Fire & Ice assembly was engaging and visually exciting for our K–6 students. The hands-on demonstrations captured students’ attention, and the approach to split the program into K–3 and 4–6 helped manage audience size and energy levels. For the older (grades 4–6) group, we would have appreciated a slightly deeper educational component—such as more detailed explanations of the scientific concepts behind the demonstrations—to better align with their grade-level understanding and curriculum. Overall, it was a big hit with all of our students!
