Yes
Suggestions to artists for improvement:
I would suggest the presentation come with pre and post-show music. If possible it would be great to actually hear the Scott Joblin Rags, as presented by the artist, they were not discernible. Also, would like to have seen "Billy Holiday" with the classic white gardenia in her hair instead of the hat.
Please include any additional comments you care to make.
The show was enganging. The students spontaneously started clapping along with the songs and applauding afterward. The performers, in spite of one of them having trouble with their voice, were energetic and charming. The history shared made this a perfect show to celebrate Juneteenth, even if a little early. The study materials provided are very informaive and an excellent review of, and follow-up to, the performance.
