Would you recommend this program to other school districts?
No
This is the second year in a row that the presenter showed up late. This took away valuable time from the first group of kids that were attending the program. The presenter this year was a different person than last year, and she was very soft spoken. It was hard for the kids to hear what she was saying. The kids were definitely interested in learning about all of the animals and touching them as well, but she didn't have control over the group.
Suggestions to artists for improvement:
Please show up on time as schools run on schedules. Please send a presenter that is louder and more engaging with the kids.
Please include any additional comments you care to make.
The presenter brought a variety of animals including a rabbit, turtle, tortoise, snake, and a blue tongued skink. She spoke about how they take care of the animals and what adaptations they have to survive. She also let the students pet each animal and answered questions that they had.
