The second graders really enjoyed the Animal Show this past Friday, March 22nd. The presenter Brandon was very engaging and entertaining. He taught the students all about the adaptations each animal uses to survive and what they eat. He taught them important vocabulary words such as mimicry and cold-blooded and explained them thoroughly. Brandon shared a variety of animals (millipede, snake, tortoise, bearded dragon, blue tongued lizard, and bunny). The students were excited to pet the animals. Brandon answered the students’ questions and provided them with lots of facts and information about the animals. Overall, this program was a great experience for the second graders!
