LISTING YOUR PROGRAMS ON THE AIE WEBSITE - NEW ARTIST
(for Artists Only)

Go to the Nassau BOCES Arts in Education Website Homepage (http://www.nassauboces.org/artsined)
and click on "Online Forms." Then select "New Artist Registration" from the list.
Please note instructions at the top of the subsequent page for
fingerprints, liability insurance and NYS Retirement System before proceeding below.
- Create Artist Profile
Fill in all appropriate information on the "Artist Register" form including:
- Artist/Organization: This is the name by which you are known as an artist. This name will be used on the Website listing.
- Name on Check: This is the person or organization to
whom checks should be made payable once your program is finished.
If this is a person, you MUST enter a SOCIAL SECURITY number in the appropriate field;
if this is an organization, you MUST enter a FEDERAL ID number in the appropriate field. Enter one or the other, not both.
- Contact, Phone, Website, Address, City, State, Zip: Enter the appropriate information as requested.
- E-Mail: We MUST have a current e-mail address which you check regularly, as this is our means of contract transmittal and communication with you.
- Password: Create a unique 8-12 digit password and re-enter it. Click "Register."
- Adding Performers
After submitting your account application you will be brought to your Profile page.
Click on the "Performers" button at the top of the screen. The subsequent page
will be your "Performers List." Please check the statement
that best describes you or your organization and add the performers
who will be working in the Nassau County schools. If you have less
than five employees, click on the NYS Retirement System Instructions
and Form. Please follow the instructions and fax this form to Nassau
BOCES.
- Enter Program Information
Click on the "Program Manager" button at the top of the screen
and on the subsequent page click on the "New Program" button and
enter all the appropriate information for your first program. (You
will be given the opportunity to enter additional programs, one at a
time.)
- The fee for listing your program(s) on the Arts in Education Website
is as follows:

- Please be as SPECIFIC as possible when entering program information.
Doing so will help schools as they search the Website for artists to perform in their schools.
- When you are satisfied with your entry, click "Save."
- If you are adding additional programs or to pay
for your programs click on the "Program Managers" Tab.
- Pay Your Registration Fees
After you have completed adding your performers go to the
"Program Manager" tab at the top of the page click the "View
Pay/Invoice" button. The next screen will show you all your
programs, categories which you have selected, costs, etc. This is
also your last opportunity to make any changes, additions, or
deletions before finalizing your registration.
- Here you will have a choice of either paying online with a credit card (Visa, American Express, Master Card, Diner's Club, Discover, JCB) or paying by check.
- If you opt to pay online, verify your billing information and hit "Submit Order."
Once submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirming payment.
- If you choose to pay by check, click "View Invoice."
Print one copy of this "Artists In Schools Invoice" and submit it with your check, made payable to "Nassau BOCES / Arts in Education Programs."

When you are finished, log out.
You will receive an e-mail at the address provided above which will
confirm the creation of your account.
NOTE: In order to be accepted as a Nassau BOCES artist/organization,
all artists performing in the schools must have:
- Fingerprint clearance for workshops and residencies (see Fingerprinting
below)
- Submitted their program descriptions for BOCES review
- Paid for their on-line registration (check or credit card)
- Been approved by the Nassau BOCES Board
- List employees' names. If less than five submitted to Nassau BOCES,
the NYS Retirement System Status Form is also required.
Artists will receive e-mail notification when all of the above
have been successfully completed.
Fingerprinting
All artists presenting workshops and/or residencies are required to be fingerprinted.
Fingerprinting for the New York State Education Department (NYSED) is now handled by MorphoTrust and its subsidary, IdentoGo.
You can find NYSED's fingerprinting procedures on the
NYSED fingerprint processing webpage.
A list ot IdentoGo LiveScan sites can be found on the
IdentoGo Website.
All applicants must complete the OSPRA form(s) below and email them to
artsined@nasboces.org.

NOTE: It is important to note that unpaid programs will not be listed on the
Nassau BOCES Arts in Education Website and paid programs will not be listed until they have been reviewed by BOCES.
NOTE: You may add additional programs once you have initially registered.
Only when you have paid for these additional programs will they be listed on the Nassau BOCES Arts in Education Website.
If paying by check, be sure to print one copy of the “Artists Schools Invoice” and mail it with your check to the address shown above.
Please call or e-mail Nassau BOCES Arts in Education if you add additional programs after you have made a payment.
